Ownership

UK Federal Credit Union is a member owned financial cooperative, chartered in 1937 to effectively provide member based quality financial services. A board of directors, elected from the membership, declares dividends, sets loan rates, administers policies, and determines the future direction of the credit union. The board hires a President/CEO to oversee the staff and daily operations of the Credit Union. The board, committees and staff remain committed to serving you by offering member driven services and maintaining a financially sound institution.

Eligibility

The following are eligible for membership:
UK Federal Credit Union employees
UK faculty and staff (full and part-time)
UK students (full and part-time)
Kentucky Community and Technology College System (KCTCS) employees.
Kentucky Community and Technology College System (KCTCS) students.
EKU faculty and staff, (full and part-time)
EKU students (full and part-time)
Pattie A Clay Regional Medical Center employees (full and part time)
Home Economists and County Agents employed by the USDA in Kentucky
UK Agricultural Alumni Association members
UK Engineering Alumni Association members
UK Law Alumni Association members
UK Medical Alumni Association members
UK Nursing Alumni Association members
Bluegrass Community and Technical College Alumni Association members
UK Alumni Association regular members
Immediate family members of anyone who is eligible to join whether they are      currently members or not. Immediate family includes the following: spouse,      mother, father, siblings, children (natural, step, and adoptive) and persons living      in the same household.
